Admission Details
Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choices and All India Ranks of JEE (Main) through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later. The candidates will be able to make their choices online for branches /programs and institutes at appropriate time.
Candidates willing to enrol in the BITS Pilani Online B.Sc Computer Science may apply for admission online. They need to submit an application form online. On selection, they will receive an offer letter and instructions on the next steps from the BITS Pilani admissions office.
Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
To be eligible for the BITS Pilani Online B.Sc Computer Science programme, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Should have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised Central or State board from India or equivalent.
Must have adequate proficiency in English.
Applicants with “English” as a subject in Class 10th will be considered eligible.
Must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12th and have scored at least 60% marks in the subject.
Candidates who have not studied Mathematics in Class 12th or failed to obtain the minimum passing marks in the subject need to appear in a Mathematics qualifier exam to be conducted by BITS.
For International candidates
Must have passed the qualifying examination from their respective country’s / province’s High School Board.
Should have adequate proficiency in English, submitting a valid IELTS/ TOEFL/ Duolingo scorecard with the application.
Must have studied Mathematics at the high school level and have secured at least 60% marks or a minimum grade point of 6 on a scale of 10 in the final year.
In case of not securing the minimum passing score in the subject, applicants are required to appear in a Qualifier exam in Mathematics to be conducted by BITS.
