Admission to all courses will be made in the odd semester of each session at the first year level based on the relative performance in the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE-Main)
and qualifying examination as per the guidelines issued by the MHRD, New Delhi from time to time.
Admission of NIT Hamipur is based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). There is no need to apply separately to each NIT. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, comprising of the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and the Joint Admission Board (JAB) conduct and supervise the admission process of candidates to various NITs through centralized online counseling process.
Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
