Admission Details

The admission to B.Tech. degree programme at NIT Uttarakhand is done through Joint Seat Allocation
Authority (JoSAA)/CSAB. Admissions were given on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) prepared by
JoSAA considering score in JEE (Main).

All the seats will be filled based on the All India Rank (AIR) obtained in the JEE. Admissions are based on the All India Rank obtained at JEE (Mains) examination.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Science Stream with (60% & 40% weight-age, respectively) from any recognized board.

Candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.
