Admission Details
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow conducts an entrance examination for 85% seats. The candidates are allotted branches on the basis of their merit through counseling conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow
For 15% seat candidates can apply for direct admission to the NIET. Admission will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exam and /or respective entrance exam as per the policies of the University.
Candidates seeking admission to the first semester of the six-semester MCA course are required to qualify in the Common Entrance Examination (UPSEE) for admission to Master of Computer Application.
The eligibility criteria for direct admission on seats remaining vacant in the first year after entrance examination counseling shall be such as may be notified from time to time by UPTU.

Candidates are required to appear in State Entrance Examination (SEE), conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India.
Eligibility Criteria
For admission to first year of MCA( 2 year) a candidate must have passed Bachelors Degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.
Graduation from a recognised University with minimum 50% (45 % in case of SC and ST) marks in aggregate with Maths as a compulsory subject in graduation or 10+2 level.
