Candidates can vie for admission through either PESSAT/ MAT (if above 500 composite score)/ CAT (if above 50th percentile)/ CMAT (if above 50th percentile)/ GMAT/ GRE scores. Candidates in any of the above cases should attend GDPI at PES University Ring Road Campus and only if they clear GDPI along with valid entrance test score can they proceed with admissions. Candidates who have registered for PESSAT or selected PES University in option entry during MAT registration will automatically get a call from PES for GDPI sessions. Others should approach the University for GDPI dates. Candidates appearing through PGCET should get the admission order from PGCET cell after attending counseling.

Candidates are evaluated on the below mentioned criteria:

1. Academic Performance
2. Nationalised Management Test Scores and Alliance Management Aptitude Test
3. Oral Extempore Presentation:

Candidates are required to appear for an Oral Extempore Presentation before a panel, for a maximum duration of three minutes on a topic given on the spot. The presentation will be evaluated on content, relevance, and clarity in communication.

4. Personal Interview Performance:

A personal interview would be the final step in the selection process. The overall personality of a candidate would be evaluated.

• A candidate who has passed with the at-least 60% Bachelor's degree of 3 years duration relevant stream or equivalent under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
• Test Scores in PESSAT, PGCET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE accepted.

Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC / ST candidates) in aggregate and must have qualified in any of the national-level management aptitude tests and Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT).
