Admission Details
Register and take PESSAT/ KCET/ both (if eligible) and participate through counseling to compete for a merit seat based on PESSAT/ KCET rank. Provisional blocking of seats through higher fee/management/NRI/PIO/OCI/Sponsored quota is also possible. Admission will be made on the basis of KCET Exam.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed with the 60% aggregate marks in Physics + Math + Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biotechnology of 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
And Test Scores in PESSAT (National level exam) or KCET (State level exam) required.
The student should have passed 2nd PUC/ 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and should have scored an aggregate of 45% in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Electronics/Biology. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.
