The admission of a candidate to I semester M.C.A is done through counseling based on his/her position in the corresponding merit list prepared by UPTU on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by SEE-UPTU every year.

Through Counseling: • 85% seats of total approved intake will be filled through Counseling (based on the UPCET ranks).

Procedure : The announcement will be done by the affiliating University (AKTU). The candidates are required to visit official website aktu.ac.in, time to time for detailed information. 

Through Management Quota: • 15% seats will be offered to eligible candidate through direct admissions based on the guidelines of affiliating University (AKTU) and as per the College policy.

Procedure : Candidate has to apply online through the institute website. Institute will offer seat to the candidate as per the guidelines of AKTU and the college policy.

A candidate seeking admission in the MCA course should be a graduate of any Indian University or Foreign University or Institute recognized by the UPTU as equivalent thereto. The graduation should be with three years of regular study after passing 10 + 2 Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent of an approved Board with mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Passed BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree.

OR

Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University).

Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
