A candidate must have passed the Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA considering all the subjects by regular full time course. The students appearing for the final graduation examination, may also apply but he/she has to score the above percentage up to pre final semester without any backlog or supplementary and to produce the final year graduation result in due time PASSED without backlog or supplementary, failure of which will lead to cancellation of candidature/ studentship. 

• Bachelor's Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent ( under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university, in any discipline.
• At the time of applying candidates studying in 3-year degree programme should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4-year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects for 1st to 6th semester.
