There will be no GD/PI for admission to IIM Jammu this year. Please refer to the admission policy document of IIM Jammu. The process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Performance in CAT examination is an important component in the admission process. IIMs may additionally use other factors like previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience, gender and academic diversity and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. • The University shall conduct admissions in regular MBA programmes in the University School of Management Studies on the basis of merit in CAT. 
• If Seats remain vacant after counselling on the basis of merit of CAT, then counselling shall be conducted on the basis of score in CMAT. In case seats still remain vacant even after exhausting CAT and CMAT merit, the University will consider admission in MBA programmes by conducting Common Entrance Test to be conducted by GGSIPU.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent
CGPA [45% in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled
Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University
or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in
India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956,
or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government
of India.

Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification
examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting
results can also apply. However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will
be allowed to join the program provisionally, only if they submit a certificate from
the Principal/Registrar of their University/Institution (issued on or before the date as
stipulated by the respective IIM) stating that they have completed all the requirements
for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the
certificate.

Any recognized 3 years or more Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
