Eligibility Criteria
A candidate taking up Honours in a subject must have obtained:
● A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. OR 55% marks in the subject or related subject in the previous qualifying examination OR 50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject in his/her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied.
● Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled tribe category must have obtained 40% marks in the aggregate and 40% marks in the subject/related subjects at the previous qualifying examination (10+2 level) for being eligible for admission in the Honours programme of study.
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
