    Admission based on the WBJEE Entrance Exam.

    Admission in the 1st semester to all UG courses are done by their ranking in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, through e-Counselling conducted by WBJEE, held every year.

    Admission through Lateral Entry

    Twenty percent of the total intake is filled-in from Lateral Entry candidates in the 3rd semester through JELET.

    Admission through Lateral Entry to the 2nd year (3rd semester level) of the undergraduate degree courses, candidates who have either passed diploma course in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy from any AICTE recognised Polytechnic / Institute with at least overall 50% marks (45% for reserved category) or have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject and Degree in Science (B.Sc.) from U.G.C. approved Universities with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).The aforesaid candidates will be eligible for admission to degree courses based on the merit position in the JELET conducted by the "West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board"
