Mode of Admission: Aptitude Test

National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) conducted by ‘Council of Architecture’ through academic unit ‘National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) with Min 40% (as per prevalent NATA regulation)

Criteria for selection

Merit shall be determined on the basis of candidates’ performance in the qualifying Examination and Aptitude Test. The Weightage shall be as follows:

• 50% for Qualifying Exam
• 50% for Aptitude Test -NATA

All the candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. shall pass/qualify the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the Competent Authority of the Central / State Government or JEE Paper-II examination conducted by CBSE . This condition shall be fulfilled by all candidates including those belonging to Scheduled Castes, scheduled tribes and other classified groups.

The Candidate should 12th Standard/Pre-university course or equivalent with Minimum 50% or above, 45% or above for OBC, SC, and ST (Maths and English compulsory)

OR

10+3 Diploma (Architecture, Civil & Interior Design) or equivalent recognized by Central/ State Governments with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

OR

International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

• who have passed the two year Pre-University examination conducted by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board with Mathematics as a subject of study; OR,
• who have passed 10+2 of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) with Mathematics as a subject of study; OR,
• who possess Three-Year Diploma in any stream recognized by Government of Karnataka, or any other State government or Central government or any other Diploma qualification considered equivalent there to by this University.
• who possess international Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of Schooling; OR,
• Who have passed any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
