The marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be considered for the selection of candidates. In case of a tie, older candidates will be placed at a higher merit position.

Candidates should be passed from any
recognized university/institution with
minimum 50% marks or an equivalent grade
either in the Bachelor and/or in the Masters
degree in Sciences/ Social sciences/
Humanities; Bachelor’s in Engineering or
Technology with specialization in science and
mathematics with 55% marks or any other
qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible
for admission to the program. 

No upper
age limit.

Note- Qualification may be modified if
amended by RCI from time to time.

1) Admission to B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) is open to candidates who have passed any degree examination of the University of Mysore or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore. 

2) Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks either in a Bachelor's Degree and/or in a Master's degree in Sciences / Social Sciences /Humanities, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program. 

3) 5% of marks relaxation for SC/ST/PWD categories.
