B.Tech. Admissions to various programs of IIITD will be done through Joint Admission Counselling, JAC-Delhi, and through IIITD admission process using UCEED rank (Only for some seats in CSD) and Class XII Marks (Only for some seats in CSSS). Details regarding the number of seats, eligibility, merit list and admission process are given in B.Tech. admission brochure. The goal of our assessment process is to select the best performing and well-rounded applicants who can contribute and enhance the learning experience at FLAME University. We have an internal assessment process which considers the following aspects of your application    

• Admission Test (FEAT/SAT)
• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview
• Past Academic Record
• Extracurricular activities/ achievements
• Statement of Purpose (SOP)

follow a sliding principle for selection, where we shortlist candidates based on their overall performance on all the parameters enlisted above. As an applicant, if you score below average in your entrance test, but your application is strong in other aspects, chances are you might still get an offer from FLAME University. Obviously, the higher the test score, the better your chances of getting an offer letter. Your chances of selection are brighter if you have a strong academic record, well-articulated SOP, and extracurricular/ professional achievements.

FLAME University’s selection process is designed to give each applicant a fair chance of admission. FLAME tries to ensure that bright well-rounded individuals get admitted to its programs. Outstanding performance in the admission process makes you directly eligible for scholarships.

70% marks in aggregate for five subjects (including Physics, Chemistry and Maths) and 70% in Maths in class XII from CBSE board or equivalent.

• In the case of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (or an equivalent qualification) or State Boards, CBSE and CISCE (Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations), the applicant should have passed the 12th standard final examination.
• In the case of International Baccalaureate (IB) students, the IB Diploma is the minimum eligibility for admission.
• An ‘A’ Level certificate is the minimum requirement in the case of Cambridge students (GCE/IGCSE/GCSE examinations of the approved British Examination Bodies), with:

  • 5 (five) subjects in A, B, and C Grades including English at Ordinary (‘O’) Level and
  • 3 (three) subjects at Advanced ('A') Level.
• In case of a high school diploma awarded by an accredited American school / international school in other countries following the American system of education accredited either by the State Departments of Education or by one of the following Six Regional Accrediting Agencies in the USA:

• Applicants who have obtained 10+2 equivalent qualification from a foreign university / board / institution, other than above, are required to submit an equivalence certificate issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi along with the application.
• In order to be eligible to pursue a major in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics or Computer Science and Design or Data Science and Economics, the candidate has to pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at 12th or equivalent level (Subject to additional requirements mentioned in the academic handbook).
• In order to be eligible to pursue a major in Economics, it is desirable that the candidate has passed Mathematics as one of the subjects at 12th or equivalent level. However, the candidates who haven't done Mathematics in their 12th Standard can also pursue Economics as a Major provided they pass the following two courses in the first year of the undergraduate program: 1) Precalculus [2 credits]; and 2) Introductory Calculus [2 credits]. (Subject to additional requirements mentioned in the academic handbook).
• Candidates currently enrolled/studying in their 12th standard or equivalent class can also apply, provided they can produce their 12th passing certificate / mark sheet before 30th September 2026. Admission of such a candidate shall be strictly provisional till s/he submits a valid proof of passing the 12th or equivalent level examination before the prescribed last date, failing which the admission shall automatically stand withdrawn without any further notice.
• The applicant should be less than 21 years of age as on July 31, 2026.
• FEAT is optional for those who have SAT/ACT* scores. We do not specify a cut off score for SAT/ACT which would guarantee  admission in FLAME, as the SAT/ACT score is only one of the parameters we consider for selection. Needless to say, a high SAT/ACT score improves one’s chances of selection.
