B-Tech is done through counseling based on his/her position in the corresponding merit list prepared by UPTU on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by SEE-UPTU every year.

The candidate has appeared and is qualified for UPSEE.

A candidate seeking admission in B-Tech should have passed 10 + 2 (with PCM) Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent of an approved Board.

For admission to the first year of B.Tech courses, the candidate must have passed the intermediate examination of Uttar Pradesh Board or 10+2 level examination or any equivalent exam from any recognized Board/University without grace in required compulsory subjects and one optional subject and securing a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate and students should appear in UPSEE exam.
