Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna univeristy Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Admission forms may be obtained from the college office.

The admission shall be on the basis of TNEA ranking.

A pass with Minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, put together

• BC including BCM 40 %
• MBC & DNC 40 %
• SC / SCA / ST 40 %

A pass in any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) as given below with any one of the Engineering related subject namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, with a minimum average percentage put together as given below.

A pass with Minimum average Marks in Related Subjects, Vocational Theory and Practicals put together

• General Category 45 %
• BC including BCM 40 %
• MBC & DNC 40 %
• SC / SCA / ST 40 %

A pass in HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a Minimum average mark in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together

General Category- 50.00 %

SC/ST- 40.00 %

Any other equivalent qualification with relevant subjects approved by the Higher Secondary Board of Tamil Nadu.
