B.Tech admissions were conducted through the common entrance test (EAMCET) by the Andhra Pradesh state government.

MITSUCET, JEE, National Level Entrance tests, State level Entrance tests, 10+2 Merit 

The minimum qualification for admission into a 4–year duration Under Graduate course B. Tech is a pass in the Intermediate     (10 + 2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of AP State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.

• 70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the EAMCET.
• 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
• In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on merit in the ECET, under the lateral entry scheme.

Candidates who have passed the final examination under the 10 +2 system or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as Optional, are eligible to apply.
