10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:-
1. Mathematics
2. Biotechnology
3. Biology
4. Computer Science / Technical Vocational Subject
OR
Those candidates who have passed diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.
OR
The candidates who have passed two years certificate courses from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.

Pass in 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, and Biology.
Diploma in any engineering trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chd or SLIET Longowal or any such exam from any other State Board of Technical Education.
Two-year certificate course from SLIET Longowal.
