• Seats in each program in the college are classified into CATEGORY–A ( 70% of intake), and CATEGORY-B (30% of intake) besides Lateral Entry.
• Category -A Seats will be filled by the Convener, EAMCET Admissions.
• Category - B Seats will be filled by the College as per the guidelines of the Competent Authority.
• Lateral Entry seats for 20% of the candidates from the approved strength of the course shall be admitted into the Third Semester directly based on the rank secured by the candidate in Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET(FDH)) in accordance with the instructions received from the Convener, ECET and Competent Authority.

Admissions will be based on Qualifying at the Entrance Examination (EAMCET) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education, Hyderabad.

• 70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the Engineering and Agriculture Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
• 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.
• In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under the lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.

First year:-

•  A pass at the Intermediate Examination of Andhra Pradesh State Intermediate Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology or equivalent. 
• Qualifying at the Entrance Examination (EAMCET) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education, Hyderabad.

Second year (Lateral Admission):-

• A pass at D. Pharmacy course (ER-91) with I class.
• Qualifying at the Entrance Examination (E-CET) conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education, Hyderabad.
