Admission Process for B.Tech. Ist Year
A. Admissions through UPSEE counseling:
UPSEE qualified candidates have to report in the college with allotment letter issued by UPSEE in favor of our college (G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Code: 192) for finalization of admission and follow the same as mentioned below:
Merit preparation/ shortlisting of candidates shall be on the basis of score in SAT/ MRNAT / 10+2 Qualifying Examination.
Eligibility Criteria
The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent).
For admission to first year of B.Tech. candidate must have clearly passed an intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in each compulsory subjects and one optional subject as given in clause 3.1 (i) and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects. A candidate Passed Diploma (Engineering & Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is also eligible for B Tech.
Eligibility to appear in UPSEE for admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech.
Lateral entry in B.Tech. for Engineering Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard.
Pass in 10+2 examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects & eligibility shall be determined on the basis of percentage of aggregate marks in i. English, Physics & Mathematics and ii. One subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology or Biotechnology and iii. One subject with the highest score out of the remaining subjects.
