There will be a Common Entrance Examination for selection of the candidates for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Forestry, B.F.Sc., B.V.Sc. and A.H., B. Tech.(Agril. Engg.) and B.Sc.(Hons.) Community Science courses. The candidates for admission will be selected solely on the basis of Merit (Weighted Score) which is based on his/her academic career and performance in the Entrance Examination. If two or more candidates secure the same computed score, the tie shall be resolved and their merit positions will be decided on the basis of higher marks in the Entrance Examination or +2 Science or HSC/ equivalent in that order.

Admission to all courses will be made through a Common Admission Test (SAAT) conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusadhan University.

• Minimum Qualification: +2 Science with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including extra optional. (for SC/ST/PWD candidates is 40%).
• Subjects in +2 Science: P.C.M. or P.C.B.*

• Passed 10+2 examination with not less than 60% marks in aggregate for admission under General and OBC categories, 50% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PH categories, with PCM/PCB/PCMB subject combinations. Candidates must have passed in English 10+2 examination. There will be no rounding-off of the OGPA/percentage of marks of qualifying examination while deciding the basic eligibility of any candidate for admission e.g. if a candidate obtained 59.99% marks in his/her qualifying examination, then it will not be rounded-off to 60%.
• Age Limit: Indian Nationals of at least 16 years of age as on 31.08.2026 are eligible to apply for the examination. No relaxation is admissible regarding the minimum age limit
