The admission will be done strictly on JEE (Main) merit.

• Admission for 1st year B.Tech. Course through JEE mains (joint entrance examination) merit through Uttarakhand State Online Counseling.

B.Tech First-Year Admissions:

• Who have passed an intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and those who have appeared in the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination). The admission will be done strictly on JEE merit.

B.Tech Lateral Entry:

• Candidates who have qualified UKSEE examination on merit basis and have passed B.Sc. examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and securing minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent Examination, only are eligible for direct admission in the second year.

NRI/ Foreign National:
N.R.I. seats shall be filled up from the son/real brother/ real sister of such NRIs, who have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics from an institute situated in India or abroad. The merit will be decided on the total marks obtained by them in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the qualifying examination. All such candidates must submit a certificate from Indian Diplomatic Mission/ Chancellery/ High Commission along with their seal to the effect that the candidate or his/her father/mother/real brother/ real sister is a Non-Resident Indian 

• Passed Intermediated examination from a recognized board, with at least 50% marks in PCM (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category in Science stream).
• Passed diploma Examination from an AICTE-approved institute, with at least 50% Marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category in an appropriate branch of Engineering)
• Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized university as defined by UCPC, with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with Mathematics.
• Provided that in case of students belonging to the B.Sc. stream shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawings and Engineering Mathematics of the first-year engineering program along with the second-year subjects.
• Provided that in case of students belonging to the B.Sc. stream shall be considered only after filling the super numeracy seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.
