Passing of the 10+2 examination with at least with 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) with Physics /Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology /Biology/Information Practices / Biotechnology / technical Vocational subject / Agriculture Engineering Graphics /Business Studies / Entrepreneurship
OR
Passed D. Voc. Stream in the same as the allied sector Or Passed two year certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology Longowal
OR
Passed 3 year Diploma examination from Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology Longowal or any such examination from any other recognised state board of Technical Education with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category)
The candidate should have passed in 10+2 with Physics & Biology or Mathematics as compulsory subject along with any one of the following: Chemistry/Dept. at a glance./Computer SC. (Obtained at least 45% Marks in the above subjects taken together, 40% for SC Category)
