The seats for B.Tech.are filled through a competitive examination conducted by JEE, Noida. The seats left unfilled are filled directly by the Institute on the basis of merit while adhering to eligibility criteria.

Admission to 85% seats of the College is made on the basis of UPSEE  conducted by a body duly constituted by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow.  Admission to Vacant seats is offered according to the eligibility criteria given below. For admission to a vacant seat, the candidate has to fill up a registration form which is available in the College.

• Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) from any affiliated university/board with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects along with any one optional subject from chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology
• For lateral entry of B.Tech., the candidate must have passed three years diploma in engineering course; securing minimum 50% marks in Aggregate or three year B.Sc. Degree with mathematics as one subject; securing minimum 50% marks in Aggregate.

1. The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to the first year of different courses shall be as under:-Compulsory Subjects; Physics & Mathematics
Optional Subjects; Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology/ Technical Vocational subject

2. For admission to the first year of B. Tech., the candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University & securing a minimum of 45% marks (40% Marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together as per given above.

Lateral Entry

1. Candidates who have passed three years Engineering Diploma from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks OR whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh, and he/she passed three years Engineering Diploma with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture), are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engineering/Technology.

2. Candidates who have passed ‘three years B.Sc. degree and passed XII standard with mathematics as one of the subject' from any recognized University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate, are also eligible for admission to second year in any branch of Engineering / Technology.

There after, the vacant seats, if any, will be filled on merit by such candidates who have passed the qualifying examination securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate without any grace marks.
