Admissions to the four years B.Tech. Program in CS branch of the Institute is made through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/JoSAA. Based upon the merit in JEE (Mains).

A candidate must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination with commerce or Intermediate with economics or mathematics as one of the subjects of study. For General and Other Backward Classes, candidates must secure at least 40% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, minimum number of marks obtained should be 33% based on total marks of all subjects.

The candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.
