A candidate must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination with commerce or Intermediate with economics or mathematics as one of the subjects of study. For General and Other Backward Classes, candidates must secure at least 40% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, minimum number of marks obtained should be 33% based on total marks of all subjects.

The person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to it, shall be eligible for the course.
