The candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission. He must have passed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized board and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in 10+2 be 40% & 45% for PH category candidates, instead of 50%. 

A Candidate seeking admission to first year Bachelor of Hospital Administration (BHA)
i) Should have passed two year Pre University examination conducted by Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State, with any principle subjects of study.
OR

ii) Shall have passed any other examination conducted by Boards / Councils / Intermediate examination established by State Government / Central Government and recognized as equivalent to a two year Pre University Examination by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with any principle subjects of study
Marks
In case of admission on the basis of qualifying examination, a candidate for admission to BHA course must have secured 45% marks.

Age
A candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Hospital Administration course should have completed 17 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission.
