Candidates who have passed the three year Bachelor’s degree examination of Bangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto by the Bengaluru Central University, with the respective subject as optional/major/special/main subject, are eligible for admission to the programmes provided they have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate of all the subjects (including English and Languages) and 50% marks in cognate subject or major subject.

a) B.Sc./B.Tech degree in Agriculture/Agricultural Engineering/ Food Technology/ (OR)

b) Any B.Sc. degree with 50%  marks in all subjects except English and Language with Mathematics at least at  + 2 or PUC level. 

• A candidate who has passed BSc Degree of Bangalore University or any other University equivalent thereto with any LIFE SCIENCE subject securing 50% marks in aggregate of all Optional Subjects. 
• Candidates who have passed B.Sc. Biotechnology/B.Sc Biotechnology (integrated) and Secured 50% marks in the aggregate. 
• Candidates who have passed B.Sc Hons in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, or Biology are also eligible with 50% marks in aggregate of all the optional subject. 
• The following Graduates are also eligible (in absence of I, II, III above) with 50% marks in aggregate 
• Bachelor in Agricultural sciences/Dairy Sciences/Horticulture/Forestry/Fisheries/Pharmacy/Engineering (Bio-Technology)/Medicine/Dental/Agricultural Engineering/Clinical Lab Techniques.
