Seeking admission into a 5-year law course only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.
The qualifications of the 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
The Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.

The minimum eligibility is a Senior School Examination Certificate (Class 12) from any recognized or accredited Board of Education in India or abroad with a minimum of 48% in the aggregate or any grade equivalent to the same provided that a relaxation of 5% in minimum eligibility marks is permissible to SC/ST/OBC.
