The selection based on JEE Main and Siksha O Anusandhan Admissions Test (SAAT) entrance exam.

There is common counseling for admission to MD/MS on the basis of merit list of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and is done under the overall supervision of State Government.
Admission to MD/MS/ Courses is strictly done as per MCI guidelines. Admission, Selection, Counselling is done as per qualification in terms of gazette notification that appears from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate shall have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidate belongs to SC / ST / OBC category) and must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belongs to SC / ST / OBC category) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.

Admissions to all postgraduate broad-specialty programmes are conducted nationally through the competent authority as prescribed by the Statutory Council (NMC) and as per Government of India Gazette notifications, based on NEET-BS merit.
