• The Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission into various professional courses for students of Karnataka. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

• For UG, The admission to college is through the entrance test / Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Government & Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka / COMEDK. The students with meritorious ranking are considered for admissions.
• A pass in PUC/12th/10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with English as one of the subject/language.
• A pass in PUC/12th/10+2 or equivalent examination with 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Mathematics & any one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biology / Computer science / Electronics.
• Candidates belongs to Karnataka SC, ST & other backward classes (Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B) the minimum marks for the eligibility will be 40% aggregate in the optional subjects.
