Admissions in MD/MS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG).

• Candidate should have passed MBBS with a minimum of 50% marks, possessing permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC / the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 30.09.2021.

For Foreign Medical Graduates:

• Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India (OCI) who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical Colleges outside India should have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) as per Screening Test Regulations, 2002 which is conducted by National Board of Examinations.
• They should have been registered with the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and should have completed their internship or likely to complete their internship on or before 30.09.2021.
• The candidate should be qualified in NEET-PG 2021 conducted by NBE.
• Provisional allotment letter from DGHS

All candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate Medical & Surgical Degree courses in Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute under Chettinad Academy of Research and Education for the current academic year will have to qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates, (NEET-PG) for the respective year conducted by the National Board of Examinations which is mandatory. It shall be necessary for the candidate to obtain a minimum of marks at the 50th percentile in ‘NEET-PG’. (However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other Backward Classes the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile. The minimum qualifying mark in case of candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs shall be at 45th percentile.) The candidates must have satisfactorily completed a one-year compulsory rotatory residential internship (CRRI) on or before 31st March the previous year. Candidates who have completed their internship after 31st March of the previous year shall be ineligible to participate at any stage of the admission process.
