Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India, fall under General Category. Admission to Engineering program under General Category is based on merit in the All India Entrance Test - NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test).
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidates shall have passed Pre-University or XII standard or equivalent examinations held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biology / Bio-Technology, and have secured not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the Languages for admissions to Engineering & Technology courses or as revised by the All India Council for Technical Education from time to time.
