In addition, the candidate must have qualified in the merit list of National Eligibility cum-Entrance Test UG – 2019 (NEET UG - 2019) for admission to MBBS course conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education as per the criteria laid down by the Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria
Indian Boards-
Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually from a recognized Board, with a minimum 50%markstaken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology Candidates are advised to check NEET 2026 Brochure for the final eligibility criteria
A level-
Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the ‘A’ Levels and English in the ‘AS’ Level
Minimum requirement is a ‘D’ grade individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology Candidates are advised to check the minimum grade requirements for registration in their respective countries
IB-
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English • IB Diploma or IB Certificate with a minimum of 4 points in each subject and overall minimum of 24 points • Minimum 3 subjects in HL and 3 subjects in SL • Minimum TWO Science subjects in HL • Third Science subject and English can be at HL or SL
No Candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the Medical Curriculum proper of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Course until:
1. He/she completes 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the year of admission to the MBBS Course.
2. To be eligible for admission to MBBS course, a candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology at the final examination of the Pre University Course or its equivalent. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology taken together in the qualifying examination shall be 40% instead of 50%.
