Eligibility in Entrance Examination

• B.A. (Hons.) Examination in History from University of Delhi, 50% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
• B.A. (Hons.) Examination in History from Universities other than Delhi University, 60% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
• B.A. (Prog./Pass) examination with History from Delhi University, 55% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
• B.A. (Prog./Pass) without History from Delhi University, 60% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
• B.A. (Prog./Pass) from other than Delhi University, 60% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
• B.Com. (Pass/Hons.) B.Sc. (Gen./Hons.) from Delhi University and other than Delhi University, 60% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
• Master's Degree (Other than History) from Delhi University, 60% marks and above in Msc/M.Com or with 55% marks or above in MA in Humanities and Social Sciences or equivalent grade.
• B.A. (Hons.) in any subject other than History from Delhi University, 55% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
• B.A. (Hons.) in any subject other than History from other than Delhi University, 60% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.

Eligibility in Merit Category

• B.A. (Hons.) Examination in History from University of Delhi, 60% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.

A candidate, having passed B. A.(Hons.)/B.A. with Ancient History as a subject is not eligible, for admission in M. A. in History but can apply for M.A. in AIHC & Arch, in the Faculty of Arts.
