• The University shall conduct admissions in regular MBA programmes in the University School of Management Studies on the basis of merit in CAT. 
• If Seats remain vacant after counselling on the basis of merit of CAT, then counselling shall be conducted on the basis of score in CMAT. In case seats still remain vacant even after exhausting CAT and CMAT merit, the University will consider admission in MBA programmes by conducting Common Entrance Test to be conducted by GGSIPU.

From the list of candidates shortlisted for the Interview Process, admission to the MBA Full Time programme shall be based on the following criteria and weight system: 

1. Weighted CAT 2022 Score - 50% 

2. Marks obtained in Class X - 10% (60% and above but less than 75%: 5%, 75% and above: 10%) 

3. Marks obtained in Class XII - 10% (60% and above but less than 75%: 5%, 75% and above 10%) 

4. Discussion on Statement of Purpose - 10% 

5. Extempore – 5% 

6. Personal Interview - 15%

Any recognized 3 years or more Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Candidates applying for admission to the MBA programme must have pursued at least a Bachelor’s Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling with at least 50% marks at graduation level (SC/ST: Passing Marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45% as per the University Rules) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor’s Degree may also apply.

Note: Candidates appearing in the final year examination of Bachelor’s Degree are eligible to apply for admission irrespective of their percentage of scores obtained till the time of application, provided that they expect to fulfill the eligibility criteria when their results are declared and which must be submitted to the FMS office at the time of admission to the programme.
