Admission Details
Admission to B.Tech course is done through EAMCET, a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telagana State.
Admissions for Category ‘The convener conducts a’ seats, TG-EAPCET, through Web Counselling, based on the TG-EAPCET rank, as per the rules of reservation for admission into professional colleges in Telangana. Our college code is CMRN. For other details.
Eligibility Criteria
Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other Engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Telangana State. The admission pattern to B. Tech is as follows:
The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
1. 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the EAMCET.
2. 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
3. In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on the merit in the ECET, under lateral entry scheme.
Category – A
A student must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana, with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.
“B” Category:
The admissions under the ‘B’ category will be made by the management of the College following the guidelines given by TGCHE, Hyderabad.
A student should either have obtained a rank or have secured a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% in group subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) in the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.
