Admission Details
As per the norms prescribed by Telangana State Government 70% of the seats designated as Category ‘A’ seats will be filled by the Convener, TS EAMCET, based on the rank secured in the TS EAMCET (Common entrance test conducted by Government of Telangana State). 30% of the seats designated as category ‘B’ seats will be filled by the College based on the guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana State.
Admission to regular B.Tech Programmes is made based on the rank secured in Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.
Admission to lateral-entry for three-year diploma holders into B.Tech II year is based on the rank secured in Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET).
Eligibility Criteria
A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other 10+2 level examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate as equivalent thereto.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
