Admission based on VTUEEE exam.
There will be a series of selection procedure to scrutinize the students for admission. there will be an entrance exam, group discussion and Interview, those who appeared and have a valid result of TANCET, CAT, MAT and any other Management exam are exempted from appearing the entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria
1- A pass in +2 (or its equivalent).
2- Those appearing for 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in March / April / May can appear for VTUEEE.
3- For the purpose of consideration for award of the Vel Tech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship, the state from which the candidate has studied and appeared for the qualifying examination (12th standard examination of the State or Central Board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs, even though the nativity of the candidate may be another State or Union Territory.
Direct Admission- 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board, Central Board of Higher Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi); The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi); National Institute of Open Schooling; Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University; High School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge or equivalent.
Students with any degree from UGC recognized institutions under 10+2+3 (or) 4 patterns are
eligible to apply.
The Institution will admit students who have appeared for an entrance examination recognised
nationally or the institution will adopt to follow any one of the following entrance
examination: TANCET for Government quota or examination conducted by consortium of
self-financing professional, Arts & Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu for management quota.
However, candidates with MAT/CAT/XAT will be given preference.
