hi saqib
congratulations for scoring such good rank .yes you have a good chance to get admissions in cse course at this rank .the seats are very limited in amu for cse as it is the most popular course in amu.however if you doesnot get the seat in the initial counselling you still left the chance where you expect some improvement from your course to cse.

Hi Anas,
In AMUEE 2019, there are 3 lists declared with completion of each rounds, which are:
1. Selected Candidates list : It contains those students who have confirmed seats.
2. Chance Memo list : It contains list of those studnts who may get a seat if vacant seats are left by selected students
3. Special Category list : This list is nothing but a combination of the above two list but just for reserved category students. This list contains names of selected as well as chance memo students differentiated by sign '$' and '#'. So, your name will come into the list definitely if you will be selected or make it to the chance memo list. If you are not in it now it just means you haven't made the cut yet.
Good Luck !!
General-75-80 marks
SC-ST-70-75 marks
More than 50 percentile is sufficient to take admission
Hello there,
You can get admission in Aligarh Muslim University as most of the students wait for JEE Mains and JEE Advance results and they cancel their admission if they are selected in NITs and IITs.
In 2016 waiting list cleared upto 300 and in 2017 waiting list cleared upto 350 so there are good chances for your admission but you might not get the desired branch.
GOOD LUCK!
Yes you can get Mechanical Branch quite easily considering that your AMUEEE score and rank is pretty good. But we can never guarantee the ease upto which you'll get admission. You will have to apply and try for yourself, because each year, rankings and cut-offs vary from other years. So you should also try for other universities and colleges as backup. But I hope you get what you want. All the best!
Hi Wasif, if you follow the trend of last few years that I would say that getting admission into AMU for MBA, being an external is difficult. Candidates who score 100 to 110+ generally get admission in AMU, MBA (for external).
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Hello aspirant,
Yes it is mandatory for all who wish to get a seat in Aligarh Muslim University, have to give the AMU Entrance Exam. Through this exam one can get a seat for UG and also for PG programmes. The eligibility criteria for each course offered by AMU is different. Now, since you had registered for the AMUEE but were unable to give the exam, you can appear for the exam next year but have to again fill up the required application form for AMUEE. The counselling will be done on the basis of one's rank in AMUEE and availability of seats.
You can go through this link and checkout all the details about AMUEE and also the required eligibility criteria as per the courses available : https://www.careers360.com/exams/amu-entrance-test
