Having said that, I would say you should check with yourself with what are you more interested in.

I would advise you to opt for MSc Plant biotechnology, because this wouldn't narrow down your field and you will surely have genetics and plant breeding in the course as a part of it.

Though if you choose MSc genetics and plant breeding, you'll surely miss some of the important topics in plant biotechnology. Also this would narrow down your field.

With narrow down your field i mean just in case you want to pursue your PhD in some of the topic relevant to Plant biotechnology, you might miss out on those just because you pursued MSC in genetics and plant breeding.

Otherwise both the courses have equal scope

To get admissions in The BHU PET the student has to satisfy to be eligible for admission with minimum academic qualifications and varies for candidates depending upon their category as you have'nt mentioned yours refer the below  cutoff and merit list according to the college for LLM :

The category wise detailed cut-off for PET LLM in 2020 was:

General 209

OBC       156

SC           66

ST           22

Physically Challenged - OH           31

BHU Employee Ward      14

The cut-off marks for BHU LLM PET always change year to year depending on the complexity of the questions, and the no. of candidates appearing for the exam.
