Hello !

DU conducts DUET for entry into UG,PG and PhD programs.

CUCET is a national level entrance exam conducted by 10 central Universities of India.Each university has its own criteria of eligibility for the candidates.

The 10 Universities participating in CUCET are :-

how the cucet exam conducts in 2021 .whether go to exam center or we have to write from home.

Hello,

The CUCET exam is going to be conducted in the month of August in the exam centre which will be mentioned in your admit card. The admission process of CUCET 2021 will start with the release of application forms in July. The admit card of CUCET 2021 will be released online. The entrance examination of CUCET 2021 will also be conducted in the online mode.  Central Universities Common Entrance Test or CUCET is a national level entrance test conducted once a year for admission to UG, PG and Research programmes. The entrance examination will be conducted in around 141 exam centres. The exact dates are not yet released yet. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.

I done my bsc in biological science in triple main, chemistry as one of the main subject.Can i apply for msc chemistry in cucet?

Hello Aspirant,

You are eligible to apply for CUCET post graduate degree of MSc. Chemistry with a Bachelors degree in chemistry (major) given that you possess a minimum of 55% (general) / 50% (for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) The OBC cut off varies in some colleges so do check out the prospectus for the college you desire. The general eligibility criteria to appear for CUCET 2021 for admission to Undergraduate course  is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to general category and for candidate belonging to SC/ST it is minimum 45% aggregate marks from a recognized board. For admission to PG courses a candidate must have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate marks for candidates belonging to general category and for candidates belonging to reserved category it is minimum 45% aggregate marks from a recognized board. You should also fulfill the course specific eligibility criteria to get admission through CUCET 2021 as you haven't mentioned the name of the course in which you wish to get admission it is difficult to tell if you are eligible to appear for CUCET 2021 and get admission in to a specific course. Please mention the name of the course in which you are interested to seek admission in the comment box.

See in CUCET the questions are asked from the following sections, so make sure to get well prepared with the given sections :-

  • Language
  • General awareness
  • Mathematical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Domain knowledge
  • English language
  • Reasoning
  • Data interpretations/ numerical ability
  • General awareness and analytical skills

It is known that CUCET is of 2hours duration conducted in offline mode. It consists of 100 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each and there is negative marking of .25 as well so unless you are confirm that the answer is right then only select it otherwise not. Central University of Kashmir is the only participating college offering Integrated B.Sc. Hons. MSc Bio-technology. Physiotherapy course is not offered in any CUCET participating institutes.

The eligibility criteria to appear for CUCET for admission to Integrated B.Sc. Hons.
