Cutoff for 2017 for CSE under Sc category is around 8000 for Sm and 10000 for AIM in SoE. And, in case of CUCEK, it is around 10000 and 11000. So, you have a better chance of getting CSE at CUCEK in AIM. But in the case of
Your chances of getting CS in CUSAT, both in SoE and CUCEK, are very low. The cutoffs are higher than your rank. The cutoff of 2017 is given in the university website. Check that for more details.

The Cochin University of Science and Technology conducetd it's CAT and had declared the result on June 5, 2018. Soon the cut-off list for the various branches shall also be dispplayed. The candidate who gets a rank that is equal to or above the cut-off rank
yes there are chnces of getting admission in muslim category as you have scored an eligible rank to get admission in government seat in civil department. all the best.

As per you CUSAT CAT rank of 6552, you can get a free seat at SOE Ernakulam.
But it is hard to get top branches.
If you are interested in taking only top branches the you can apply through management quota.

It is really hard to get any top branches in CUSAT coulselling with a rank of 5605.
In case you have any reservation the you can surely get any branch in any of the CUSAT camppuses.

For admission in a decent college and a good branch under CUSAT, you would require a rank around 4000-5000 atleast. Otherwise minimum rank admitted in 2017 was around 8000 in the general category.
