how many marks is required in cusat cat to get rank under 5000?

Rohit K Bhat 18th Jul, 2021

Greetings dear aspirant

Well, there is no definitive answer to your question, because the rank to mark relation has been fluctuating with each passing year. The cutoff trends keep changing every year and depend on the number of students attempting the exam, number of available seats, difficulty level of the exam, etc. However,an average score of about 200 will get you a rank under 5000. This is just a prediction based on the previous year trends and is not accurate and can change this year. It's just to provide you a rough idea.

Hope this helps!!

All the best for your future career

Cusat Cat Rank 1209 in Integrated Msc any chance in getting in cusat?

Biswadeep Biswas 12th Aug, 2021

First of all congratulations for securing a good rank.

As you know there are only 60 seats for integrated Msc in basic sciences in cusat. But there will be high chances for getting admission with this rank. In 2018 last rank admitted was around 700 something for general category. Last Year it rises upto around 1200–1300 for general. So with this rank of 1209 there is a high probability to get admission. Actually it depends on many factors like option registration, KVPY etc. There will be more preference for students who have a Better KVPY rank. So wait for the admission procedures.

I have practised previous ten-year questions of Cusat Cat. Will I get a rank below 1000?

Anushri Varshney 24th Jun, 2021

Hi,

You have not mentioned the course for which you are about to give the exam but since you've asked I would like to say that apart from practising previous year questions, you should have some good knowledge and a detailed explanation of the topics for whichever course you've applied for. Also, there are few days left you can read and make short notes of the chapters coming in the exam. See, many competitors are looking for admission rather than just completing the course is not good a person must possess good and in-depth knowledge of the subjects for the success. If you've done all this then for the days left you can practice more and more, revise the concepts then definitely you will rank below 1000.

See the previous year cutoff trends also.

Will there be repeated questions for the CUSAT CAT examination?

apoorvakomuravelly 22nd Jun, 2021
Hi,
CUSAT CAT exam is usually a moderate level in questions. Similar questions usually repeated every year. Try to download previous papers and solve them. Keeping your basic concepts in maths, physics and chemistry followed by their applications can easily give you a good rank.
All the best.

i am sc student i got 75 percentage in plus two bio maths and i am state syllabus i was preparing for cat cusat bcom llb examination how much mark should i have to get to get an admission

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 31st Jul, 2021
Hello,

CUSAT CAT cutoff changes every year depending on factors like:
Number of candidates applied.
Number of Candidates qualified in the exam.
Number of Seats available for admission.
Difficulty Level of question paper.
Previous Year cutoff trends.
There will be 150 questions in the paper and +3 marks will be awarded for a correct response amd for every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
Being a SC candidate, if you can secure around 250 marks then you will have decent chances of admission.

I hope this helps.

Which rank range that I will get admission in Computer science B. tech in Cusat CAT exam??. what are fee structure at there?? is it comparitively low than govt KTU collages.?

Akshita Dhiman 21st Jun, 2021
Hi there,

Please access the below links for the previous year's cut-off trends and fee structure of CUCET and KTU colleges.

It should be noted that to secure a seat in CSE in the School of Engineering (SOE) a candidate should have a rank below 1000 (usually the cut-off varies between 800 to 1100-ish) and a rank below 3000 for CUCEK.

Additionally, several factors affect these cut-off rankings every year. However, previous year cut-offs can provide an approximation of the same. So please check out the above links.

I hope this helps!

Thank you!
