DSAT Exam 2026 - Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus & Pattern, Result

Dayanand Sagar University has released DSAT 2026 eligibility criteria online at the official website, dsu.edu.in. The eligibility criteria of DSAT 2026 comprise of education qualification and qualifying marks. Candidates who meet the DSAT eligibility criteria 2026 will be able to complete the registration process online. Below is the detailed DSAT eligibility criteria. 

DSAT 2024 eligibility criteria

Education Qualification:

• Candidates must pass the PUC / class 12 exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Technical Vocational subjects from a recognized board.
• Candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks (40% for OBC, and SC / ST candidates) in the above subject taken together.
• A valid score in DSAT / COMEDK / Uni-Guage / KCET.

Candidates aspiring for B. Pharm admission into Dayanand Sagar University (DSU) through DSAT 2026 may check the eligibility required for the same as mentioned below:

The candidate should have passed 10+2 with 

• Physics, Chemistry and English with Mathematics, or
• Biotechnology or 
• Computer Science or 
• Biology
  as optional subjects with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate Lateral, (Diploma holders in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India).

In order to appear for DSAT 2026 for the MBA programme, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• They must have a Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of three years duration from a recognised university.
• They must have passed the above-said qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST & OBC category)
• Valid DSAT / CMAT / CAT / GMAT / XAT/ NMAT/ KMAT scores are mandatory pre-requisites
• Interview is mandatory for selection

The authority releases the DSAT 2026 eligibility criteria for MTech online at the official website. Candidates can check the MTech eligibility criteria for DSAT to know the minimum qualification required for admission to Dayanand Sagar University. Below are the detailed DSAT eligibility criteria 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must pass BTech in the relevant branch with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to OBC, SC/ST category). 
• A valid score in DSAT / PGCET.

The application process of DSAT 2026 is completely online. Candidates must visit the official website of DSU and register themselves to fill the application form. The DSAT application form is released for applicants interested in engineering, pharmacy and law courses at Dayanand Sagar University, Bengaluru. The application fee is Rs. 1000. Candidates will be asked to upload the following documents while filling the DSAT 2026 application form:   

• A scanned copy of the passport-size photograph.
• A scanned copy of the signature of the candidate

Applicants will be required to schedule their preferred exam timings while filling out the DSAT application form 2026. The DSAT exam is a remote proctored test. 

DSAT 2026 is an online test consisting of 75 MCQ questions on English and General Aptitude. The total duration of the exam is two hours. The exam will be conducted on certain dates in April and May. The exam will be conducted in English language only. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Candidates can download it and take multiple print outs of the same. The hall ticket of DSAT 2026 is a mandatory document which must be carried to the exam hall on test day. Candidates are not permitted to take the test without the DSAT admit card 2026. The name and address of the test venue will be indicated on the hall ticket/admit card of DSAT. Candidates are requested to be present at the test venue at least 90 minutes before the time of commencement of the online DSAT exam.

The final date of DSAT 2026 result announcement is yet to be disclosed by the authorities. However, considering the previous years' trends of DSAT result announcements, the merit list of shortlisted candidates is likely to be generated and released soon after the exam. Candidates who appeared in the admission test can view DSAT 2026 result of their respective course as per official announcement. DSAT Result 2026 will be declared by Dayanand Sagar University in order of merit on the basis of aggregate marks secured in the Entrance Test,  provided he/ she fulfils the minimum eligibility criteria and minimum qualifying marks in the test. Notification regarding the DSAT results will also be sent out through SMS and emails to all candidates.
