Hi Nikhil, let me first brief you with the overall examination process of GAT :

This year GAT applicants- 200000(approx)

People appeared: I dont know the exact figures but there is a fair chance of 3/4th or 3/5 applicants appeared for GAT

People securing GAT rank below 5000 will not

getting a seat in GITAM is not a big deal as GITAM takes huge amount of admission as i am a gitam student you will definately get admission in CSE.

GAT 2017 cutoff mark varies from stream to stream so if you have good rank you will surely get a chance in CSE or ECE or IT department's

See predicting beforehand is not possible it totally depends on the number of candidates appeared for the test and was able to cross the cutoff. So if you have crossed the sectional cutoff for gat 2018 and fulfilled rest of the eligibility criteria then don't get tensed hope for the
