HPCET registration or application fee is

Rs. 1000 for SC/ST/BPL and Rs. 1500 for Other categories.

The candidates will have to first login on to the official website.

Once they are successfully logged in, then the candidate will then have to click the application form tab.

The application forms are to be filled in an online mode itself and all the required details are furnished in the application form, the candidates will move towards the next step where they will be asked to upload the scanned copies of their photograph and signature.

HPCET Entrance Forms are made available in online mode only by HPTU from 1st week of March 2021 . All candidates, applying for the exam must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria of HPCET . ... After form filling, candidates have to pay the fees through online mode.

Himachal Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (HPCET) is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University for admission to various UG and PG courses. HPCET 2021 application form will be available soon at himtu.ac.in. The officials have not given any exact date for the release of application form. Maybe due to the ongoing pandemic there is a delay in the release of application form. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. Candidates will have to pay the requisite application fee in online or offline mode. The online payment can be made through credit card or debit card, however, offline payment can be made through PNB Challan.

Yes candidates who do not belong to Himachal Pradesh can give HPCET for admission it the candidates  has passed class 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University in Mathematics and Physics alsong with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ any Technical vocational subject with at least 45% marks in the above mentioned subjects taken together if you belong to unreserved category and the minimum score is 40% for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. The authorities are expected to release the HPCET application form 2021 tentatively in the first week of March in online mode. Eligible candidates will be required to fill and submit the same before the last date which is expected to be the first week of May 2021 tentatively.

HPCET 2020 has been cancelled due to the pandemic and the admission to including ABGEIT shimla  is offered through counselling through 10+2 marks and through jee mains exam.Candidates who cleared jee mains are eligible for direct admission in the institution itself.But the application has been closed on 22nd october for this year.But for next year it is most likely that counselling happens through HPCET exam.For further admission process kindly visit this link https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/hpcet#Overview-of-HPCET-2020
