see only the domicile of west bangal are eligible to give jelet 2020 exam as per the information brochure, because at the time of admission process you need to submit the domicile certificate issued by competent authority. a candidate is eligible to get the domicile certificate of west bengal either if
a> residing in west bengal at least 10 years as on 31.12.2019
or
b> whose parents are a permanent resident of west bengal having permanent address.

Hello,
If you are asking about TFW i.e. tution fee wavier then you will get it during counselling. it is not in the application form. You will get it in counselling application form. you will apply for branch you like with TFW or without TFW. It is a benefit you get if your rank is eligible for it.
You apply for TFW + branch options as first preference and then only branches without TFW. your rank will be evaluated in order.

jelet exams conducts by wbjeeb, question structure is total of 100 mcq, total marks of the question is 100. All branches of Engineering/Technology will have one common paper.Each negative response will fetch (-1/4) marks. total time duration is 120 minutes. since seats are really less compares to students participate in the exam, you need to score more than 90+ to get admission in jadavpur university.
Amit, you should have a valid diploma in the relevant branch to be eligible for admission to 2nd year of UnderGraduate courses in Jadavpur University through JELET scores. According to an old information brochure which you can read at: http://www.jaduniv.edu.in/upload_files/scroll_info/1537275412.pdf , it says that lateral entry through JELET scores is possible in Jadavpur University. You should have passed Diploma and scored a minimum aggregate of 60% in your Diploma. It is 60% for General Category and 45% for SC,ST,OBC.
In order to apply for JELET, candidate needs to have passed BSc Degree with 45% marks, also they need to have maths as one of the subjects in 12th exam.The upper age limit for BSc Candidates for JELET is 27 years as on 31st Dec of that year.
So, you need to fulfill the above eligibility criteria in order to appear for JELET.
