The admission test will carry a total of 100 marks with the unit wise marks assigned and coverage of topics is as follows:

Unit I is for 60 marks and covers topics like:

1. Geomorphology, climatology, oceanography and biogeography.

2. Human geography, economic geography, political geography, Population geography, human ecology

What is the eligibility criteria for PhD in Physical Sciences from JNU ? I have read from the prospectus and some websites but they show a different answers. Prospectus says that Maths is not required at B.Sc level but some websites show that Maths is compulsory at B.Sc level. what is correct ?

  • It is an computer based test (CBT)
  • Online application form will start from march 2 , 2020
  • Exam will take place in may 11- 14 2020

Yeah you may have different subjects in graduation and post graduation. There will not be any problem if you are not willing to apply for UGC NET. But if you're interested in applying for it, take the same subjects in graduation and post graduation.

For jnu economic at frist you have to check the syllabus of the entrance exam,and then take the help books and solved question papers and start preparing,

The pattern of entrance examination for M.A Economics in JNU had slight changes time by time. The paper was of 100 marks.

JNUEEE is the entrance test conducted by JNU for both PG and UG courses. The exam will consist of multiple choice type questions. Which means it will be objective.

for MSc mathematics a candidate can have admission in JNU if he/ she has passed his /her bachelor's degree ( BSc or BTech or equivalent) from any recognised university with at least 55% you got 49% in your bachelor that means you are not eligible for this if

Greetings!

You can easily apply for the second year of B.A Hons in foreign language if you have completed the first year from a recognized college/university with an equivalent degree scoring at least 45% in that stream. You also should have proper and adequate knowledge of the language

Do JNU also offer M.Sc. in Chemistry??On website of School of Physical Science it is mentioned that m.sc. in chemistry has started from 2017.

Hi,

JNU does offer Msc. in chemistry. You are supposed to have qualified your Bsc chemistry with minimum 50% marks. You will be required to give the national level entrance exam to get admitted in Bsc. The main syllabus will include most of your topics that were there in Bsc.
