my kcet agriculture practical rank is 2715 and general rank is 90 000 can i get bsc agriculture seet

kumardurgesh1802 24th May, 2025

Hello Darshini,

With a KCET Agriculture Practical Rank of 2715 and a General Rank of 90,000 , your chances of getting a B.Sc. Agriculture seat depend mainly on the following factors:

  1. Admission is based on the Agriculture Practical Rank , not the General Rank, for B.Sc. Agriculture through the agriculture quota.

  2. Seats under agriculture quota are limited, but a practical rank of 2715 is considered moderate. You may have a chance in aided or unaided private colleges and possibly in some government colleges in less competitive regions.

  3. Category reservation (like OBC, SC, ST, etc.) and Hyderabad-Karnataka or other regional quotas can improve your chances.

Conclusion: With a practical rank of 2715, you may get a B.Sc. Agriculture seat , especially in private colleges or in later rounds . Getting a government seat is possible but competitive, so you should apply to a wide range of colleges and keep all options open during counselling.

i got 43000 in kcet for agriculture nd 6029 in agriculture practical exam will i able to grab the seat

Abhilasha Agrawal 5th Aug, 2025

With a KCET agriculture rank of 43,000 and practical exam rank of 6,029, your chances for a government B.Sc. Agriculture seat in top universities (like UAS Bangalore/Dharwad) are quite slim in early rounds. However, you may still have a chance in private agricultural colleges or affiliated colleges under UHS Bagalkot/UAS Raichur, especially in later rounds.

Can I get top 10 colleges under kcet rank 45525 in karnataka also I am hk region and st category student

Abhilasha Agrawal 8th Aug, 2025

With a KCET rank of 45,525 and HK region and ST category, you have a high chance of getting seats in top Karnataka colleges. Past cutoffs suggest you can get branches like ECE, EEE, Civil in colleges such as UVCE Bangalore, BMSCE, RVCE, MSRIT, SJCE Mysore, and even some CSE/AI seats in HK-region colleges.

Your category advantage means you may get branches usually closed to general candidates with ranks under 15k. Applying in early and later rounds can further improve chances.

I got 138835 rank in KCET which college can I get in Bangalore

Abhilasha Agrawal 8th Aug, 2025

Your rank of 72,000 makes top-tier colleges like RVCE difficult to access, but you have good chances for CSE/AI/ML or related branches in colleges like Ramaiah University, DSCE, or Oxford College of Engineering—especially during spot or final counselling rounds. Colleges like SIT Tumkur may also open up based on vacancies.

i didnt attend agri practical exam and board and kcet combined for pcb i get nearly 77 can i get agriculture seat under kcet

kumardurgesh1802 24th May, 2025

Hello there,

If you did not attend the agriculture practical exam, you will not be eligible for the agriculture quota seats under KCET. The agriculture practical exam is mandatory for claiming seats under the agriculture quota .

However, since your KCET score combined with board marks for PCB is around 77, you may still have a chance for general quota agriculture seats, but chances are low because cutoffs for agriculture courses are usually high.

Admission depends on:

  • Category and reservation status

  • Number of applicants

  • Availability of seats in participating colleges

You should still participate in the counseling process and list agriculture courses in lower preference just in case a seat becomes available. Also, consider related courses like horticulture, sericulture, or forestry if you're open to alternatives.
